Another ‘coming of age’ movie released in 1994 and set in the late 70s, again an example of fictionalised teen/youth culture. Typical high-school students battle peer pressure and relationship dramas. I again took screenshots of particular scenes I felt appropriately connected to our theme and narrative to my writer’s poetry.

I also drew particular interest in moments of close ups with hand actions and gestures – these often felt equally as good at telling a story/describing the scene as if the whole  picture was in view.
